Alabama Ballet Junior Board
Mission Statement
Alabama Ballet,
the state’s premiere professional ballet company, works to promote and
foster the development of classical and contemporary ballet through high quality
performances, dance education, and community outreach. The newly formed Junior
Board has been tasked with increasing awareness of Alabama Ballet and working to
make it more accessible to Birmingham’s
YP community. That effort includes creating fun and unique events surrounding
the performances as well as helping with After Hours at The Pointe Ball. Future
opportunities for the Junior Board also include volunteering with Alabama
Ballet’s outreach and education programs.
