The Blackburn Institute will host a free workshop on Saturday, August 23rd from 1:00- 5:00 pm at WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham.  During the workshop, the Nonprofit Resource Center of Alabama will train attendees for service on boards of nonprofit agencies and explain how to become more involved.  This free event, Blackburn Institute's Board Builder, is open to anyone interested in learning more about serving on boards.  A networking reception will occur immediately following the workshop.  Space is limited, so sign up soon by using the following link:
